How it works
Casambi utilises low-power Bluetooth radio technology to eliminate the need to run cable around the home. Each device can work independently or as part of a mesh network, forming an invisible communication backbone. If a single device fails, system communication can continue by finding an alternative route using other devices, making the system incredibly robust and reliable.
Interoperaility
Because Casambi is an open system, hundreds of manufacturers produce all kinds of different products that are interoperable with each other. These products include keypads, switches, dimmers and sensors for occupancy and daylight. Popular light fixture manufacturers are even integrating Casambi directly into their lights so that you can control them directly without any additional hardware.
App Control
Casambi offers various control possibilities to interact with a lighting system. Both iOS and Android versions of the app are available for phones and tablets, as well as an Apple Watch version. The app is beautifully designed using a modern design language for its interface and is user-friendly and intuitive to use. A button press can instantly dim a light circuit and with zero latency.
